Outpost 77
results:

Last night, our Outpost 77 ran a great event,
the 2006 Pinewood Derby competition. The race
was accompanied with lots of competition,
laughter, and sometimes screaming!

The
cars all looked and ran great! The boys had been
working on them for the past month. Ranger Kids
raced matchbox style cars while the older boys
(Discovery and Adventure Rangers) competed with
their handcrafted speedsters. The gravity-fed
track, the boys' workmanship and of course the
Divine Hand of Providence determined this year's
winners:

Outpost 77 results:

Gold Medal of Achievement Ceremony
John Luke
Chenoweth and Matthew Chenoweth were awarded the GMA, the
highest achievement in Royal Rangers. These medals are listed on
the National Royal Rangers web site: http://www.royalrangers.ag.org/gma/index.cfm
under medal numbers #5552 and #5553 awarded in May '06. Year to
date these are the only GMA recipients from the Peninsular
Florida District out of over 40 boys nationwide!

Upcoming Events:
Section 15 'Lumberjack' Round-Up on October 20-22, 2006
3 days, 2 nights of non-stop fun, excitement, outdoor adventure
and wholesome activities for boys from 3rd grade through High
School. Evening services will feature worship and powerful
preaching around huge council fires. This is promoted as a
father-son event where dads can enjoy some quality time with
their boys without the distrations of television, video games
and cell phones. The cost is $60 per boy. More details will
follow.

Bible Boot Camp Cleans Up Boca

Over 25 young people from Church of All Nations
offered their services to
different projects throughout the Boca Raton community this
summer. During one particular project, "God's Army" assisted the
Department of Environmental Resources Management in
cleaning up the Yamato Scrub. These young people braved the
intense heat and extreme conditions and picked up over
100 lbs. of trash!

Outpost 77
Church of All Nations Outpost 77 won the coveted
Rosetta, the POW WOW CHAMPS blue ribbon, which is earned by
winning 5 blue ribbons. Our young men earned 6!!
We also had the largest sectional attendance of all
participating churches. Congratulations to the Commanders,
leaders and members from Outpost 77 for a job well done!

Southeastern Region - RANGER OF THE YEAR!!

Church of All Nations takes
great pride in announcing that Matthew Chenowith of Church of
All Nations Post 77 is the 2005 Adventure Ranger of the Year for
the SE Region! Matthew scored 86% at the Regional testing last
weekend which was held near Atlanta, Georgia. About 20 boys
competed from North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia
and Florida. Congratulations Matthew for representing not
only South Florida but Church of All Nations. We are very proud
Matthew
of your accomplishments!

Ranger Of the Year
On Saturday September
17th, Church of All Nations in Boca Raton hosted the
Section 15 Royal Ranger of the Year Competition. Rangers
from our local Outpost 77 who had achieved enough
advancements and scored high enough at the outpost level
advanced to compete against their peers from other
outposts in Section 15 which comprises all of Palm Beach
county. Our Rangers earned several outstanding awards
and are eligible to advance to Ranger of the Year
competition at the District state-wide) level. The
competition included testing in the areas of rope craft,
fire craft, first aid skills, camping, family life,
Bible, photography, air rifle, and other skills.
Participants in the Sectional Ranger of the Year will
have the Sectional portion of their fees for attending
the October Roundup camping event waived.
